Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy in Netflix Cult Series

Netflix has released the trailer for “Sirens,” a brand new limited series led by Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock.

The series follows three women at a beach estate over Labor Day weekend. Fahy plays Devon, who’s troubled by her sister Simone’s (Alcock), attachment to her socialite employer, Michaela Kell (Moore). In attempting to step in between the 2, Devon discovers that “she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela shall be,” in keeping with the official logline. The trailer shows that Michaela, higher often known as Kiki, runs a cultish-ish group that has taken over Simone’s life.

The solid also includes Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton, Bill Camp, Josh Segarra, Felix Solis, Trevor Salter, Lauren Weedman, Britne Oldford and Jenn Lyon.

The show was created by Molly Smith Metzler, who was previously behind “Maid.” Executive producers include Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley and Dani Gorin via LuckyChap (the corporate was also a part of “Maid.”)

“Sirens” is customized from Metzler’s play, “Elemeno Pea,” and is the primary project from the author’s overall cope with Netflix. Through the multi-year deal, Metzler committed to “socially conscious” projects that “offer roles for girls each in front of and behind the camera.” Metzler has also written on “Orange Is the Recent Black” and “Shameless.”

“From day one, my collaboration with your complete Netflix team has been open, creative, and wildly supportive,” Metzler previously said concerning the announcement of her overall deal. “I’m honored to call Netflix my home and really excited to maintain this party going!”
