The couple, who got married on January 23, 2023, welcomed their baby girl on March 24, 2025.
To have fun his birthday, Rahul posted a heartfelt photo on Instagram with Athiya and their daughter, also revealing the name of their infant within the caption.
“Our baby girl, our all the things. Evaarah – Gift of God.”
On the cricket field, KL Rahul was last seen playing in Delhi Capitals’ nail-biting clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 32 of IPL 2025, held on April 16 on the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Batting first, Delhi put up a competitive 188/5, with Abishek Porel top-scoring with 49. Rahul contributed 38, while Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs chipped in with 34 and an unbeaten 34, respectively.
In response, RR’s chase was anchored by fifties from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana, each scoring 51. With just nine runs needed off the ultimate over and Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer on the crease, Rajasthan seemed set for victory. But Mitchell Starc’s exceptional final over forced the sport right into a Super Over.
RR posted 11 runs batting first within the Super Over. In reply, Rahul scored seven off the primary three balls before Stubbs finished it off in style with a six on the fourth delivery, clinching the win for Delhi Capitals.
