Former cricketers were left gobsmacked by the form of powerhitting that was on display by the 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi within the IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi lit up an absolute storm, which broke the web within the Indian Premier League 2025 clash between the Rajasthan Royals and the Gujarat Titans on the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday evening.
The 14-year-old teenager wreaked havoc in Jaipur as he smashed the experienced bowling attack of the Gujarat Titans for maximums left-right and centre, hitting his maiden century within the tournament in only 35 balls.
The previous Australian captain, Aaron Finch, was in awe of the young star. He wrote a post on X (formerly generally known as Twitter) where he asked,” Have you ever ever seen anything like this? #vaibhavsuryavanshi what a talent!!”
The previous West Indies cricketer, Ian Bishop, was like most of us, in awe of the young talent who went berserk with the bat in Jaipur. His post said, “14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has bludgeoned an IPL century in 2025 off 35 deliveries. Remarkable.”

The previous Bengal cricketer also felt similar emotions after watching that knock. He reacted by saying, “I’m absolutely blown away by Vaibhav suryavanshi’s batting. Bass koi nazar maat lagana iss bache pe. (Please don’t put any bad omen on this kid.)”

The Punjab Kings’ star spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal took to social media to laud the teenager and his stupendous knock. He said,”India its future! What a century. Take a bow boy!”
The South African international, Tabraiz Shamsi, was left awestruck by the 14-year-old’s power-hitting abilities in Jaipur. Oh my goodness!! What have we just witnessed. Madness from the child wow”.

The Master Blaster himself took to X to share what made the teenager’s knock a special one. He said, “Vaibhav’s fearless approach, bat speed, picking the length early, and transferring the energy behind the ball was the recipe behind a wonderful innings. Final result: 101 runs off 38 balls.
