Eubank Jr was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he spent two nights before eventually being released on Monday.

His legendary father, who beat Conor’s father Nigel in 1990 before drawing of their 1993 rematch, shocked the boxing world by turning up for the event on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Despite labelling his son as a ‘disgrace’ within the build-up following his egg slap antics, Eubank Sr was by his side within the Royal London ward.

With Eubank Jr’s heavily bruised face swelled up, his dad, whose son Sebastian tragically passed away in 2021, has opened up on how he feared he would not survive.

Speaking on his Call Chris Eubank‘s YouTube channel, he said: “We were within the ambulance, the sirens, the horns are beeping, chaos.

“My son Junior may be very proud. His face looks like a blown up football almost twice the dimensions and he’ll never allow you to see that because he’s proud.

“People do not know but my son is touch and go and the one way we’ll know whether he will be OK is after the CT scans.

“He suffered mostly within the hospital due to dehydration despite the fact that the beating was severe and that is why he was in such discomfort for twenty-four, 30 hours.

“I don’t need my son to must undergo that again. He doesn’t know that his life was within the balance, neither does he care.”

Going into more detail on Eubank Jr’s harrowing situation, Eubank Sr remarked: “My son was in a touch-and-go situation.

“He doesn’t respect that because he’s a warrior and a warrior goes out on his shield, which he proved.

“He isn’t going to take heed to the foundations. If he can evade and sidestep the foundations, he’ll, because he’s a warrior.

“It might be a rare blessing for him, if he was smart enough to walk off into the sunset, there may be nothing cooler than that, you can’t buy that.

“There are billionaires who would give the whole lot they’ve, to have what he has.

“It can’t be bought, it needs to be earned.”

Describing Eubank Jr in hospital, Eubank Sr, who used an outrageous disguise to fulfill his son prior to the fight, added: “Junior was lying down on this stretcher bed.

“He’s light sensitive, so he has a towel at all times over his eyes.”

He continued: “When he was laying down on the hospital bed, he had this shroud [around his eyes and head], the identical beard as Sebastian.

“His face was swollen, bu from the position he was sitting, he looked precisely and exactly like Sebastian.

“And I’m talking the spitting image.”

It was at that time when Eubank Sr began to tear up as he clenched his fists when discussing his late son, while eager about how Eubank Jr was in a life-threatening situation.

Looking directly on the camera, he then simply stated: “It’s real for us.”
