In a healthful moment for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans, MS Dhoni’s huge one-handed six against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Wednesday (April 30) landed straight within the hands of his teammate Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder, who was standing just outside the CSK pavilion on the MA Chidambaram Stadium, celebrated with a double fist-pump and a giant smile before throwing the ball back in the sector.
Dhoni was batting against leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal within the nineteenth over of the primary innings within the match. He shimmied down the track on the second ball and muscled it over long on. His bottom-hand got here off, however the timing was adequate for it to hold over the ropes and into Jadeja’s secure hands.

The fun didn’t last long for CSK and Dhoni, though, and this was perhaps the last moment of it. For on the subsequent ball, the skipper got out attempting to hit one other six against Chahal.
The spinner took out Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kamboj and Noor Ahmad on his last three balls to secure the primary hat-trick of the season, and the hosts collapsed from 177/5 to 190/10 within the last two overs.
Within the second innings, half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer and Prabhsimran Singh broke the back of the chase and PBKS went over the road on the fourth ball of the last over.
“I feel the batting – yes, it was the primary time we put enough runs on the board,” Dhoni said after the match, as quoted by Cricbuzz. “But was it a par rating? I feel barely short. Yes, a bit demanding from the batters but I feel we could’ve got barely more. I feel we want to take our catches… We didn’t play the last 4 deliveries, and the second last over 4 batters got out. In close games, those 7 deliveries mean quite a bit,” he added.
