Influencer Jalen Noble is setting the record straight about his recent home in Texas after fans suggested it was built on a plantation.
“I’m currently in my renovation era,” Noble, 31, told his followers in an Instagram video posted on Tuesday, April 29, revealing that after making his barn right into a gym he was turning his focus to a cabin on the property for his guest house.
Before sharing his plans for the guest house, Noble revealed he’d done some digging into the land’s history, seemingly in response to questions on whether the land was home to slaves many years prior.
“For the history, I hired a genealogist and reached out to an architectural historian to inform me all the things I would like to learn about this cabin,” Noble explained, noting it started off as an “early settlers’ cabin” before being converted right into a hunting lodge and now his guest house.
The previous Love Island contestant revealed, “I also came upon that somebody with the last name Noble used to live here, which I assumed was pretty cool.” He showed off pictures of past residents’ signatures and the land’s paper trail.

“With this house being in-built 1850 I do wish to acknowledge the indisputable fact that I feel an amazing sense of empowerment each time I see it,” Noble gushed, confirming, “There are not any ties to slavery on this property.”
He added that “as a Black man” it leaves him in awe that he’s “capable of own a house that 175 years ago we weren’t capable of.”

Noble shared that the guest house/cabin was in-built 1850, the barn/gym in 1999 and the important house in 2016. (He first showed off the space in November 2024 after purchasing the land in Austin, Texas.)
“I’m excited to kinda update this guest house and make it more presentable,” he teased, noting it sits in the course of the property. Noble then gave his followers a tour of the inside the cabin, which features natural wood throughout.

Noble’s research download comes after some fans claimed he was living on a former plantation on account of how much land it encompasses within the south.
