During a recent appearance on the “WFFA” podcast, Ricochet discussed the event of his heel character in AEW, stating that it has been a part of the plan since his arrival.
Ricochet has been with AEW for nearly a yr, having debuted at All In: London 2024. He said,
“From the very first day, I even have been very strategic in regards to the development of the character. I’ve been very strategic about how we’ve proceeded and about where Ricochet desires to go. Obviously, the gang and every thing plays a giant a part of what you’re attempting to do. But from the very starting, this had at all times been sort of the plan for me. Obviously, the way you get there and the way long it takes to get there, that each one varies. But yeah, I’ve at all times had the plan to are available in here and be myself. Yeah, be myself eventually. That’s at all times been the plan. Again, but how long it took us to get and the way long and the way it took and the way we got there, that each one varies. But yeah, it has at all times been the plan for me to are available in here and be myself.”
During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey shared his potential dream matches in AEW, mentioning Hangman Page, MJF, and others. He said,
“There’s too many to call, but at once on the highest of my list is that I’ve never wrestled before, Hangman Page is a giant one. I believe he is completely top-of-the-line, and I’m super pumped to see him wrestle Jon Moxley. I believe Brodie King is completely improbable. Each time Darby Allin comes back from climbing Mount Everest, I hope he and I get to spend a while within the ring together. But one among the individuals with whom I even have been looking forward to be within the ring with is MJF, and it’s finally happening tomorrow when me, Kevin Knight, and Komander tackle the Hurt Syndicate, of which he’s now an element of. I had singles matches with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin up to now. But now that you simply throw MJF into the combination, it becomes an entire other thing.
