During an Instagram livestream on Saturday, June 28, Finesse2Tymes didn’t shrink back from addressing a fan who accused him of neglecting his dental care before his veneers. He owned as much as the claim, but gave the impression to be unfazed by all of it, saying, “Yeah, because I ain’t know any higher. I ain’t know no higher before I got my teeth fixed.”
He attributed his past hyigene habits to his upbringing, adding, “I used to be a street n****, I wanted some money!” Finesse’s response was each defensive and reflective, as he urged the person to “quit playing” while emphasizing personal growth: “When you already know higher, you do higher.”
He then went on to share that dental issues were a family trait, “Rotten teeth run in my family,” he said, before proudly showcasing his transformed smile. Finesse2Tymes Recently Made Headlines For Legal Issues
Finesse2Tymes’ candid livestream comes shortly after his release from federal custody in May 2025. The rapper had been on supervised release since July 2022, stemming from a five-year sentence for illegal firearm possession as a convicted felon. Nonetheless, his probation took a rocky turn with multiple alleged violations. Prosecutors pointed to 2 failed drug tests for marijuana, one in 2022 and one other in 2024, in addition to a serious incident in October 2024 that led to a terroristic threats charge in Texas.
The Texas incident reportedly unfolded at a smoke shop, where Finesse allegedly clashed with the guardian of FNG King. In line with reports, the dispute escalated when Finesse allegedly flashed a firearm and threatened to “up that fireside,” a Memphis slang term for pulling a gun. The charge, nonetheless, was dismissed while he was incarcerated, paving the way in which for his release in May.
