TNA President Carlos Silva recently provided an update on the corporate’s efforts to secure a brand new media rights deal. While TNA programming is currently available on platforms like AXS TV and YouTube, the promotion is actively in search of a long-term foundational media partner.
In an interview with JohnWallStreet, Silva revealed that TNA, alongside its partner agency CAA, is targeting a media rights valuation of roughly $10 million per yr. He said,
“We consider $10 million annually is a good goal. We’re in discussions with all the key linear networks, in addition to some emerging platforms on the lookout for a core content anchor. There are a number of outlets today that resemble what Spike TV was, and we predict TNA could play the same role there — identical to we and the UFC once did.”
Silva also highlighted the importance of TNA’s current relationship with WWE, calling it a significant component in boosting the promotion’s visibility and brand strength.
