Longtime WWE Announcer Departs The Company

A longtime WWE personality is officially moving on.

After 15 years with the corporate, Scott Stanford has announced his departure. Known for his work as a number and announcer across quite a lot of WWE programming, Stanford confirmed the news on Wednesday with a temporary video and message shared on social media. He wrote,

“Whenever you walk out of the studio in your last day at WWE. 15-year run… nothing but love!”

In his post, Stanford tagged Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque, and Paul Heyman, adding, “Hope to make it back sooner or later!”

Throughout his WWE tenure, Stanford served because the face and voice of various shows, including This Week in WWE, WWE Bottom Line, and pre-show panels for major pay-per-views. He also co-hosted WWE Superstars alongside the likes of Josh Mathews, Jerry Lawler, and even CM Punk, and often contributed to pre-show content for RAW and SmackDown.
