Drew McIntyre On John Cena – ‘He’s A Little B**ch’

Drew McIntyre is officially slated to compete at WWE Saturday Night’s Most important Event on July 12, 2025. Ahead of the show, the previous WWE Champion revealed why he doesn’t wish to face John Cena. He also spoke about reuniting with former WWE faction members before officially retiring from skilled wrestling.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, The Scottish Warrior recalled having fun with John Cena’s pipebomb on CM Punk. Although McIntyre wished to confront The Cenation Leader in a promo battle, he felt he was not the identical formidable opponent. He said,

“He tore CM Punk apart that one week on the microphone with a pipe bomb. I enjoyed it. And I used to be like, ‘God, I’d love to come back back at Cena on the microphone,’ but he’s not the identical John Cena. He’s somewhat b**ch lately. So, I don’t want John Cena. I would like Cody Rhodes.”

Drew McIntyre Wants To Reunite With 3MB

In the identical interview, the previous World Heavyweight Champion revealed a plan to reunite with Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal because the 3MB faction. He stated that after achieving his personal goals and nearing retirement, he would bring the group back together.

Drew McIntyre envisioned himself primarily performing air guitar from the apron, with Slater and Mahal handling many of the physical motion. He said,

“Yeah, there’s going to be. I tell Heath [Slater] and Jinder [Mahal] on a regular basis. I used to be like, ‘You understand, I’m going to do what I even have to do.’ I’m going to, as I discussed, get what’s mine. But eventually, once I feel prefer it’s getting near time, you already know, I’m about to say goodbye, that’s once I throw my mates a bone. We re-form 3MB. I don’t take any bumps. Heath takes all of the bumps. Jinder might take a couple of in there. I’ll stand on the apron, air guitar like hell, have a great old time.”

This Saturday, The Scottish Psychopath will face Randy Orton in a singles bout. This match was confirmed on last week’s episode of SmackDown, where The Viper delivered an RKO to McIntyre upon his return to WWE TV.
