Is The Paper A Reboot Or A Spinoff Of The Office?
Meanwhile, Greg Daniels, the creator, has made it clear that The Paper is just not a reboot of The Office. As an alternative, it’s a by-product or a sister show. He doesn’t prefer the word reboot because The Office ended beautifully, and the beloved characters and storylines had complete closure.
Greg has made it clear that he would never wish to redo the show with a brand new and different forged because he thinks The Office had the luckiest and best forged on television to try this show. This is the reason the word reboot is fake and never what The Paper is about. It’s a show set in the identical universe.
