What Previously Happened At Her Houston Show
On June 28 at NRG Stadium, Beyoncé was slaying ’16 Carriages’ in her red automobile prop, floating above the group. But whew, it went left… literally! The automobile tilted sideways midair, leaving Queen Bey dangling. Cool as ever, though her breath was slightly shaky, she shouted,
“Stop, stop, stop!” while the crew lowered her to safety. Fans gasped, but Bey waved and smiled prefer it was nothing. “If ever I fall, I do know y’all will catch me,” she told the group, per ABC News. Parkwood Entertainment called it a “technical mishap,” but whew, any person’s probably dusting off their LinkedIn! That scare led to ’16 Carriages’ being briefly cut from setlists.
In an announcement, Parkwood Entertainment wrote, “Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying automobile, a prop Beyonce uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt. She was quickly lowered and nobody was injured. The show continued without incident.”
