Manchester United have suffered a significant injury blow in the primary days of pre-season training that would force them to sign a substitute this summer.
Adre Onana is anticipated to be sidelined for between 4 and 6 weeks after suffering a hamstring tear in only his second day of coaching since getting back from his summer break.
That timeline will see him ruled out of your entire pre-season campaign which incorporates a visit to the US for games in Recent Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta against West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton respectively.
Onana could also miss United’s opening games of the brand new Premier League season with Ruben Amorim’s side underway at home to Arsenal on 17 August followed by a visit to Fulham per week later.
The Cameroon international remains to be expected to travel with the squad to receive treatment within the US.
