Mike Perry predicts Darren Till vs. Luke Rockhold in Misfits Boxing headliner between former foe and longtime rival

Bare Knuckle FC superstar Mike Perry will keep a keen eye on the Misfits Boxing 22 primary event.

Former UFC stars Darren Till and Luke Rockhold will clash within the Misfits Boxing ring on August thirtieth in Manchester. Rockhold, who parted ways with the UFC in 2022 following a loss to Paulo Costa at UFC 278, will make his skilled boxing debut after a one-off in bare-knuckle boxing.

Till vs. Rockhold is one in every of the most important fights that the young Misfits promotion has placed on in its infancy. Each former UFC standouts need to make statements of their combat sports careers, after falling in need of expectations in MMA.

Till and Rockhold don’t share rather a lot in common, as evidenced by their near-brawl at a Misfits Boxing 22 press conference earlier this month. But one thing they do have in common is their shared link to Bare Knuckle FC superstar Mike Perry.

Mike Perry sides with longtime rival ahead of Darren Till vs. Luke Rockhold

Perry spoiled Rockhold’s BKFC debut in April 2023, defeating the previous UFC champion by TKO midway through the second round. While Till hasn’t fought Perry of their combat sports careers, they’ve had a feud that’s spanned years.

Till and Perry were briefly linked to a possible matchup in Misfits before negotiations stalled. Now, with Perry watching on the sidelines and Till able to headline Misfits Boxing 22, Perry will keep an in depth eye on how Till does in his next boxing match.

After one follower pressed Perry for his Till vs. Rockhold prediction, the BKFC superstar obliged on X.

“Unless Luke with gloves on is a brand new mythical fighter, I feel [Darren Till] will win,” Perry opined.

Till didn’t take long to take notice of Perry’s prediction.

“Thanks sir [HEART],” Till replied on X.

Till has loads of reasons to feel confident ahead of his Misfits return. Earlier this 12 months, Till knocked out Misfits titleholder Anthony Taylor, before outpointing fellow UFC alum Darren Stewart just months later.

While a fight between Till and Perry has fallen in need of the mark several times, Perry’s promotion recently made a six-figure offer to Till to settle their feud.

Mike Perry’s promotion offered Darren Till $350,000 contract to book fight

Dirty Boxing Championship offered Till $350,000 to fight Perry within the Dirty Boxing ring, however the fight didn’t come to fruition. Dirty Boxing is co-owned by former UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who announced his retirement last month.

Till and Perry have recently traded barbs on social media and accused one another of ducking fight bookings. As Perry awaits his next fight within the BKFC ring, he could potentially sign a cope with Misfits Boxing to fight Till, especially if Till is victorious next month.

Within the meantime, Till is laser-focused on giving Rockhold a rude welcome to boxing.
