Steve Jobs’ youngest daughter is now a married woman — and hosted a really expensive wedding, at that.
Eve Jobs married British Olympic equestrian Harry Charles within the small medieval parish church of St. Michael and All Angels in Great Tew, England, on Saturday, July 26. Also in attendance was Bill and Melinda Gates’ daughter Jennifer Gates Nassar, chef Ruth Rogers and Bruce Springsteen’s daughter, Jessica Springsteen, who was also one in every of nine bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids wore satin crimson red gowns (that matched the five-foot tall balls of roses that appeared outside of the church). All of Estelle Manor’s 107 rooms were also booked by guests, while other friends stayed at Soho Farmhouse, where Meghan Markle held her Bachelorette party in 2018.
Eve, 27, an equestrian and model, and Harry, 26, who won a gold medal on the Paris Olympics last 12 months, began dating in 2022 and have become engaged last September. They each have famous parents as Eve’s dad Steve — who died of pancreatic cancer in 2011 at age 56 — was the cofounder of Apple, while the groom’s father is fellow equestrian Peter Charles, a former member of the British team that won gold on the 2012 London Olympics.
A source told the U.S. Sun last week that the nuptials can be a “society wedding like no other” and switch “rural Oxfordshire the wrong way up.”
“The sleepy village through which it’s happening looks like it’s turning right into a no-go zone, with secret service operatives and blokes who appear like they work for the FBI,” the insider said of the extravagant event. “This can be a very quiet place not removed from the Cotswolds. Everyone seems to be used to tourists and famous faces, but that is something else.”
