The fight went down on the Little Caesars Arena on Saturday night in Detroit, Michigan. Though Shields gave Lani Daniels credit for a “hard fight,” she also bragged on her own A-game, including landing “some big shots.”
“I broke her to the body. I broke her all the way down to the top, I mixed it up on her. Lani is just very, very tough, and I knew she can be tough just from watching her fights and I could tell she worked on her speed,” Claressa Shields reportedly said after the match.
