MANILA, Philippines—Quentin Millora-Brown might not be donning a Gilas Pilipinas jersey anytime soon however the 6-foot-10 big man is doing what he can to make that occur.
Millora-Brown, who played for the Macau Black Bears in a tune-up game against Gilas on Monday, shared the event of his eligibility status for the national team.

Surely, he’s a no-go within the Fiba Asia Cup, but Millora-Brown’s camp has appealed his eligibility status with Fiba in hopes of creating him an area as a substitute of a naturalized player.
“We’re hopeful that the appeal does undergo and I’ll be modified from naturalized to local,” revealed QMB following their 103-98 loss to Gilas at Araneta Coliseum.
“There’s an appeal on the works, my lawyers and agents are caring for that, so I don’t have all the main points on that.”
Millora-Brown’s name popped up when Gilas’ preparations for the Fiba Asia Cup began rolling a number of weeks back.

Nonetheless, the State U product was deemed a naturalized player, which halted discussions of him joining coach Tim Cone’s squad.
Still, Millora-Brown revealed that he’s looking forward to the appeal to have a plausible end result, saying “it will be amazing to have the ability to [play for Gilas].”
While Gilas is the primary reason for his appeal, the UAAP Season 87 champion also revealed he’s not planning to hitch the PBA Draft next season.
