Disney and Epic Games have partnered to bring the Implausible 4 over to Fortnite in a time-limited bundle featuring multiple skins and accessories. While Fortnite may not be as big of a cash-making juggernaut because it once was, it still tops the list of online multiplayer games as primary in relation to player counts, with Counter-Strike being a detailed second. Each games have a rough average of around 1 million players per day across the globe, and depending on the source, Fortnite is alleged to have had a grand total between 450 million and 650 million registered players since debuting in 2018. Meanwhile, Matt Shakman‘s Implausible 4: First Steps hit theaters this weekend, where it shattered records for previous FF movies but additionally very nearly beat James Gunn’s Superman with global ticket sales reported (via The Hollywood Reporter) at $218 million vs $220 million for DC Comics’ iconic hero. That being said, it’s a no brainer for Disney and Epic Games to money in on the present popularity of the Implausible 4. A trailer made in the same retro-style for the theatrical release was produced to indicate off the brand new bundle.
