The “Emotions” hitmaker and the previous “America’s Got Talent” host each have 14-year-old twins, Morrocan and Monroe, from their six-year marriage.
Despite Cannon’s mental disorder and their separation, he and Carey have managed to co-parent their children, and now, the singer is shedding light on it.

The five-time Grammy winner added that her parenting approach comes from understanding the challenges of growing up with divorced parents.
“I would like to make sure that I’m all the time fair in regards to the situation since it’s tough to grow up with divorced parents,” the 52-year-old mom told Harper’s Bazaar UK.

Carey’s insight into her co-parenting arrangement with the “Drumline” actor comes almost a yr after he revealed his rare mental disorder.
As The Blast reported, the daddy of twelve got candid on his “Counsel Culture” podcast, discussing his narcissism diagnosis and admitting that he was searching for help.
Speaking on the mental health condition characterised by a pattern of grandiosity, an excessive need for admiration, and an absence of empathy, Cannon acknowledged he was still learning in regards to the condition.
“I still don’t understand all of it the best way, but I sort of all the time desired to get tested for it. I did a bunch of tests,” Cannon admitted.
