United captain Bruno Fernandes fired Ruben Amorim’s side ahead from the penalty spot after James Tarkowski fouled Amad Diallo contained in the box.
Iliman Ndiaye levelled things up for the Toffees with a wise finish past Altay Bayindir from Idrissa Gueye’s cross after Manuel Ugarte lost the ball.
Mason Mount restored United’s lead within the second half, curling his effort around Jake O’Brien after which past Jordan Pickford into the far corner.
But after an odd own goal – wherein Ayden Heaven’s attempted clearance hit Amad and located the web – Everton equalised once more because it finished all square in america. Here’s the way it all unfolded…

Amorim calls out Man Utd defence
United head coach Amorim just isn’t completely satisfied along with his Man Utd defence over Ndiaye’s goal for Everton.
‘When Ugarte has the ball, you’ll be able to see the defence walking towards the box,’ Amorim said in his half-time interview on Sky Sports.
‘We want to sprint. When Ugarte loses the ball we should be no less than on the sting of the box. These small details we want to enhance.’
