Manchester United have decided to reject approaches from five clubs for his or her defender Harry Maguire this summer, in response to reports.
Three teams within the Premier League and two from Italy have made offers to sign the England international centre-back ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Maguire’s current contract is resulting from expire next summer – and while talks haven’t yet taken place over an extension – United are keen to maintain him.
That’s in response to the Every day Mail, who also report that Maguire has no desire to depart Old Trafford and sees his long-term future on the club.
Maguire turns 33 in March but wishes to spend the remaining of his profession with United and desires to emulate the likes of Denis Irwin and Steve Bruce.

The Englishman has made 246 appearances for the Red Devils since joining the club in a £80m deal from Leicester City six years ago.
Which clubs need to sign Harry Maguire?
Should United change their minds and judge to dump Maguire, there are a lot of other clubs – along with the five teams that made offers this summer – who need to recruit him.
Turkish side Galatasaray are known to be admirers of Maguire, who has also attracted interest from French duo Monaco and Marseille.
It’s also thought that Fenerbahce and Besiktas could offer escapes if Maguire modified his own mind.
Harry Maguire put in six-man leadership group
Maguire was United’s skipper but was stripped of the captaincy by former head coach Erik ten Hag.
He got here near joining West Ham two years ago but has enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence under current United boss Ruben Amorim.
Maguire was recently put in a brand new six-man leadership group at Old Trafford by Amorim ahead of the upcoming campaign.
”We’ve got a leadership group now,’ Amorim said. ‘It’s not only Bruno, it’s not only Harry, it’s six guys now.
‘They’re accountable for the group. There are some things that within the last yr I needed to cope with that.
‘I said to them on this yr, you cope with that. Small issues are with you guys.
‘You might be responsible. All these small changes, I feel it’s helping the group.
‘We’ve got Bruno, we have now Licha, we have now Harry, we have now Diogo, we have now Tom and we have now Nous. So it’s not only the oldest ones.
‘Nous is within the group because he’s a personality that I like. And I try to grasp the dynamic of the group and check out to succeed in every space.
