That is definitely a method of eliminating trespassers in your land.

French farmers decided to evict some travellers on a farm by sending them a smelly message and spraying them with a great deal of manure.

Last month, photographer Loic Madre caught the cheeky attack when tractors drove around in circles on the farm in Hautes-Vosges spraying it throughout.

The stinking dung was a fresh bid from the tractors to make the realm uninhabitable for the squatters.

The travellers could be seen sprinting after the tractors, with one even seen holding on to the side of 1 and shaking his fist.

Loic said that the travellers were on the farm without permission and said the harvest will happen in the subsequent few weeks.

For this reason they were so keen to get them off the land, since the grass the travellers were on is about for use as animal feed.

Loic told Day by day Mail: ‘It was difficult to barter with the travellers; they refused to listen. The farmers received no support from the local authorities or the police.

‘So that they handled it on their very own! As you possibly can see in the pictures.’

Local media also reports that farmers in the realm haven’t received support from police in regards to the travellers.

After just a few days the efforts of the farmers proved to work since the travellers were forced to go away, in response to Loic.

Health impacts of being sprayed by manure

Hydrogen sulfide is a gas that’s produced throughout the decomposition of manure.

Health effects rely on the concentration (ppm) inhaled:

  • 2 – 20 ppm: Nausea, headache, dizziness
  • 50 – 100 ppm: Altered respiration
  • 100-300 ppm: Pulmonary edema
  • 500-700 ppm: Collapse in 5 min, death 30-60 min
  • 1000 ppm: Nearly fast death

‘The meadow was badly damaged, but they left, he added.

The video was posted on X and has since gone viral with greater than 11,000 retweets.

One user called Brugade Jean Michel identified: ‘The sprayed liquid is pig manure. The smell is so strong and long-lasting that the air is unbreathable for several days.’

One other person named AngloGenXer said: ‘Feel good video of the day, that.’

Terri Lipanovic also liked the video and added: ‘That is so good!’
