Gary Lineker will reportedly host a brand new game show on ITV.
The English football legend left his iconic stint as Match of the Day host on the BBC in May after 26 seasons.
Lineker made a tearful departure from the long-running highlights programme, in addition to the broadcaster’s football coverage.
He continued to host The Rest is Football podcast together with his usual co-stars Micah Richards and Alan Shearer through the Club World Cup this summer.
And now as reported by The Sun, Lineker is about to front a brand new show that can broadcast on Saturday nights called The Box.
The programme, which is popular in Norway, will see 12 celebrities complete a series of challenges whilst being in boxes.

It is alleged that The Box is a crossover between ITV’s mega-hit show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and SAS: Who Dares Wins.
talkSPORT’s Troy Deeney and Adebayo Akinfenwa star in the newest series of the latter programme’s celebrity edition on Channel 4.
“The Box is huge in Norway, and the rights were quickly sold to Denmark and now the UK,” a source told The Sun.
“ITV are really enthusiastic about it – and imagine they’ve finally found a worthy successor to Saturday Night Takeaway.
“They’ve long been sniffing around Gary and just needed to search out the proper format for him.
“They’re confident they’ve found that now, and the BBC’s loss is their gain.”
What Lineker said on his BBC exit
Lineker left the BBC after he apologised for sharing a post on social media that led to accusations of anti-semitism.
He re-shared a pro-Gaza video, which was soon deleted, that likened supporters of Israel to rats.
The image of rats has historically been used as a part of anti-semitic propaganda, including in Nazi Germany through the Nineteen Thirties.
Nonetheless, even though it was reported he was stepping down from the BBC, Lineker has revealed that he was sacked.
“The latter,” he replied when asked if he quit or was dismissed.
“I missed it. I genuinely didn’t see it. I’m not an idiot,” he added on using a rat within the social media post.
“I could not have known it was an antisemitic trope, but I might have wondered why someone had put a rat there.
“I wouldn’t do this on purpose – it could be the largest act of self-harm ever. It was a tricky couple of days.
“People talked about me being anti-semitic. I’m not anti-any group of individuals. Any race, any color. But I’m anti the killing of kids.
“I made a mistake and I immediately took it down and apologised, which I assumed must have been enough.”
