The messy legal saga between South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and South Park rights holders at Paramount could also be coming to an end. The show had been stuck in a type of streaming limbo when rights to the show expired at HBO Max, but haven’t yet been picked up anywhere else. Paramount+ was the most obvious place, but the approaching merger between Paramount and Skydance put a hold on a number of latest dealmaking. With only a handful of episodes and on-off specials airing over the past two years, fans have been clamoring for a full latest season, and now that Stone and Parker have signed a $1.5 billion deal, the fans shall be getting what they need. In other news, the Pokémon Company held a Pokémon Direct, showing off latest details on upcoming games like Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and the primary peek at the brand new PokéPark KANTO opening in Tokyo next yr.
