In terms of proving that content is the king, South Indian movies are manually raising the bar too high! The most recent arrival this 12 months is Maareesan, which is able to join a bunch of good Tamil movies. The Hindi trailer has been dropped, and it guarantees every little bit of fun!
The trailer, in its transient two-minute span, guarantees a wonderfully balanced story that has comedy, drama, and intrigue, just the suitable amount. In actual fact, like all good trailer, it gives barely enough to hook you, while leaving a lot of the premise under cover!
Fahadh Faasil as a conman looks promising. The trailer hints at a comic book brilliance with shades of seriousness, which may be very distant from his usual slapstick characters. Meanwhile the road trip film seems to take a turn from beig a funny comedy to a social drama in a blink, because of Vadivelu‘s strong presence.
But certainly one of the foremost protagonists of the film appears to be the bike owned by Fahadh Faasil. The quirky background rating is screaming for attention, even within the trailer, which guarantees a very good serving of music within the film as well!
Nevertheless, the segregation within the narrative feels almost too neat, with a transparent separation between the bromance leading the primary half and the intense, moral-driven path within the second half. This road trip leaves me wanting for more, especially because Fahadh Faasil is promising this to be an entertaining ride!
The bromance that really won’t be called bromance between Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu, could be the highlight of Maareesan, while the trailer guarantees the film to be a tale of affection, laughter and somewhat little bit of drama. The trailer, truthfully didn’t give away anything, aside from a feel-good experience.
The film is streaming on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Take a look at the trailer of the film here.
