WNBA sensation Angel Reese is already preparing to release three highly anticipated colorways of her signature sneaker, the “Angel Reese 1.” And now, fans can add a fourth pair that pays homage to her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, to the list.

Angel Reese Is Launching A Signature Shoe Dedicated To Her Hometown Of Baltimore
In a press release sent to The Blast, Reese and her sneaker partner, Reebok, might be releasing the fourth colorway of the “AR1” in October 2025. The brand new design contains a black and purple upper, and in line with Reese, it’s imagined to represent the town that provided her with the skill to change into an unstoppable force on the hardwood. The shoe also tells Reese’s story of dreaming big and achieving any goal.
“This one’s for Charm City, to honor my roots and the community of Baltimore that has backed me from day one,” said Reese. “This city gave me my grit and made me who I’m today.”

Angel Reese Credits Baltimore For Who She Is Today

Raised in Baltimore, Reese explained that her hometown helped influence her game on the hardwood and likewise instilled in her the importance of being unapologetic.
“A fierce advocate for celebrating the town that built her, Reese pays tribute to Baltimore, where she went from a child with a dream to a cultural phenom redefining what it means to be an athlete,” the press release read.
And this is not the primary time Reese, star of the Chicago Sky, has spoken out about her love for her hometown. Through the 2024 WNBA draft, where the 6’3″ power forward was chosen seventh overall, she mentioned the Charm City then, too.
“A child from Baltimore not imagined to be here,” she said. “I’m just completely satisfied. And my mom is here, and my brother is here. I wouldn’t give you the option to do it without them.”

Before winning a national championship at LSU, Reese played for the Maryland Terrapins from 2020 to 2022, where she averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds per game.

Angel Reese Launching Three Colorways Before ‘Charm City’

Ahead of the Charm City launch, Reese is releasing three colorways of the “AR1” Diamond Dust, Mebounds, and Receipts Ready.
Based on a previous report from The Blast, Reese’s latest line of sneakers not only draws inspiration from Reebok’s Mobius line from the ’90s, but it surely also features much of Reese’s signature flair, seamlessly creating something fresh and latest for the already iconic 23-year-old.
The three pairs’ primary colours are white, pink, and black. Reese said that the “AR1,” which hits Reebok and brick-and-mortar retailers on September 18th, 2025, “is not just the launch of one other signature shoe.”
“It’s my style, my story, and my stamp on the sport,” she said.

“Reebok and I built something that is true to who I’m, and I hope it pushed others to face of their power, too,” she said. “At the tip of the day, it’s built for basketball, made to maneuver and perform at the best level.”
The kicks come equipped with high-quality performance technology, comparable to the signature exoskeleton upper, which offers players premier ventilation for breathability, and Reebok’s Energy Return System (ERS), placed within the forefoot, providing stability and suppleness.
The “Angel Reese 1s” also contains a TPU stability cup within the heel, giving athletes traction and grip for the sport’s hardest plays.
Reese Signed A Deal With Reebok While Playing At LSU

Reese’s signature shoe launch is simply the start of the basketball player’s working relationship with Reebok. For those unfamiliar, Reese inked a powerful name, image, and likeness (NIL) cope with the athleisure brand while playing basketball at LSU.
“I’m honored to be working closely with certainly one of my longtime mentors, Shaq, together with a brand that I actually have admired since I used to be just slightly kid. It means the world to me that they trust in me to increase their legacy to a brand new generation,” Reese said in 2023. “Together, I feel we’ve got a terrific opportunity to do things otherwise, to encourage people to explore and express themselves unapologetically, and to point out them the way to feel and look good while doing it.”

Reese Is The Future Of Reebok Basketball

Regarding the “AR1” launch, CEO and President at Reebok, Todd Krinsky, expressed his excitement in regards to the shoe and called it the “the subsequent chapter for Reebok Basketball, where performance meets personal style.”
“Every element, from the molded overlays to the heritage-inspired traction, was made to have fun Angel and the way she is redefining what it means to be an athlete,” he shared.
