Mittal shared that a few of her friends were in Pahalgam through the attack but were safely helped to Srinagar by Kashmiri locals. She added that “terrorism has no religion” and emphasised unity. When asked about her controversial remarks on the Pahalgam attack, Tanya Mittal said, “Everyone knows the fact. Everyone knows the reality. Baaki logon ko principal ek moka de sakti hoon to ask me and my credibility. But truthfully, mujhe unke liye bura lagta hai. Woh ghar pe baithe hain, aur principal Bigg Boss ke ghar mein baithe rahungi.”

Speaking of how her personality will fit within the Bigg Boss 19 house, and what she is most nervous about, Tanya said, “I’m not nervous; nothing makes me nervous. Is umar mein agar nervous ho gaye toh bas khatam. But haan, yeh gharwalon ki sarkaar wala concept abhi mujhe samajh nahi aaya. I at all times desired to change into a politician. I walk around like I’m a politician. Most important late isliye chal rahi hoon kyunki mere papa neta nahi hai. Often netaon ki betiyaan jaldi neta ban jaati hain.”
