Daniel Cormier has given his opinion on Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis.
The clash between ‘The Problem Child’ and ‘Tank’ has received a mixed reception from the boxing community.
Paulie Malignaggi has slammed Davis for fighting Paul, while others are more annoyed on the YouTuber for facing someone a lot smaller.
But the previous UFC heavyweight world champion actually quite likes the competition.

Daniel Cormier praises Jake Paul for fighting Gervonta Davis
Daniel Cormier has praised Jake Paul for agreeing to set foot contained in the ring with Gervonta Davis.
The 46-year-old believes the social media star has silenced the critics.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, ‘DC’ said: “Jake Paul is fighting Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. There’s one problem — he fights at 135lbs.
“Gervonta Davis is that a lot better than Jake Paul at boxing, but Gervonta Davis in his last fight weighed 133.8lbs.
“I’m not over here within the business of slamming Jake Paul. I’m rather more respectful of what he’s attempting to construct as knowledgeable boxer.
“You’re fighting a man who’s higher than you; he’s just much smaller. But because he’s higher than you, what if he wins? Every thing Jake Paul has done is wiped completely out.
“Gervonta Davis loses to Jake Paul, obviously, it’s going to harm who Gervonta Davis is, but he lost to a man that’s going to be upwards of 70lbs larger than him when he sets foot within the boxing ring.
“I’ll inform you this immediately, with out a shadow of doubt, I’ll watch this.
“Tank Davis is 30-0-1. You must discuss Jake Paul fighting an actual boxer, that’s an actual boxer.”
Does Jake Paul or Gervonta Davis have more to lose of their controversial fight?
Suffering a loss for either man could be nothing in need of horrendous.
A defeat for Paul against someone a lot lighter could be disastrous for his brand.
And for the world champion, falling short against a content creator could be beyond embarrassing.
With that in mind, a legend said whether Paul or Davis has more to lose.
