NFL star Travis Hunter and his wife Leanna Lenee have secretly welcomed a baby boy.
The couple revealed the news in a heartwarming YouTube video on Wednesday, August 27. The clip incorporates footage of several private moments, including: Hunter, 22, and Lenee, 23, celebrating a positive pregnancy test; viewing sonograms; learning the infant’s sex (“I knew it was gonna be a boy,” Lenee says); Lenee showing off her growing belly; and the parents-to-be within the hospital preparing for his or her baby to reach while listening to his heartbeat on the monitor.
“Do you’ve got a message for the infant?” Lenee asks Hunter.
“Gotta be higher than me,” he replies.
The video goes dark while audio plays of Lenee giving birth to their crying newborn.
“That baby looks identical to me,” Hunter says, seeing his son for the primary time. He tells his wife, “You probably did good, baby.”
The couple captioned their video, “Dear Son, We love you. Love, Mom and Dad.”
Hunter and Lenee got married in Tennessee in May, one month after the Jacksonville Jaguars chosen Hunter with the No. 2 overall pick within the 2025 NFL Draft.
“On 02/26/2022 you first asked me to be your girlfriend,” Lenee posted via Instagram on the time. “Now 3.5 years later, on 05/24/2025, I became your wife. You make me the happiest woman on this planet and I’m so excited to spend eternally with you.”
Back in July, Lenee shared a months-old video of herself crying on the lavatory floor via TikTok, writing, “I wish I could return and hug December me 🥹.”
“I don’t even recognize this girl anymore,” Lenee added. “The quantity you’ll be able to grown [sic] and develop in only 6 months of devoting your life to Jesus and getting away from the shackles of the world and social media is actually astounding.”
She continued, “I wish the peace I discovered inside Jesus on everyone who reads this. ❤️ Your identity in him matters, not how people decide to perceive you.”
In December 2024, Lenee deactivated her social media accounts after she was criticized for not standing up when Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy for being the very best player in college football.
Videos from Heisman weekend also made the rounds that showed Lenee allegedly getting upset with Hunter. Fans believed it was because he had not paid enough attention to her at an Adidas pop-up shop.
“The things that I see people make up is actually crazy, since it’s not what happened,” Lenee explained in a TikTok video late last 12 months. “I just think individuals are finding each little thing and attempting to make it something it’s not. Bird brain individuals are only accepting what they see online.”
