
Fil-Canadian Jack Cruz Dumont joins PBA Draft.–MARLO CUETO/INQUIRER.net
MANILA, Philippines–Cole Micek, Jack Cruz-Dumont and Kascius Small-Martin were amongst those joining the PBA Rookie Draft set Sept. 7 at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
Micek beat the 5 p.m. deadline on Friday while Cruz-Dumont and Small-Martin were introduced by Titan Management Group as its representatives who will look to be chosen within the annual proceedings.

The 29-year-old Micek, a Fil-American, recently played for the Macau Black Bears of The Asian Tournament and was also on their roster after they faced Gilas Pilipinas in an exhibition last month at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
He also dabbles in modeling while being linked to Chelsea Manalo, the country’s representative within the 2024 Miss Universe beauty pageant. The 2 have been spotted together in public, sparking rumors of their relationship.
Cruz-Dumont, a 24-year-old Fil-Canadian, played two seasons for University of the East within the UAAP from 2023 and 2024, nearly leading the Red Warriors to the Final 4 of Season 87.

He’s the son of the late John Dumont, a former player for the Pasig-Rizal Pirates of the defunct Metropolitan Basketball Association within the late-90s.
Small-Martin, also a Fil-Canadian, played in The Asian Tournament for the East Sea Pirates and the Taiwan Mustangs. The 6-foot-2 guard is a product of Brock University in Canada.
Highlights of his TAT campaign show the 27-year-old as an offensive player who can attack the paint and knock down the surface shot.
