Dave Allen names hardest hitter after taking shots from Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Russian beast

Dave Allen has taken shots from a few of the most effective heavyweights in boxing.

‘The White Rhino’ has squared off against top-quality fighters, equivalent to Dillian Whyte and Luis Ortiz.

Dave Allen has also sparred Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Oleksandr Usyk, who was videoed badly rocking the Englishman during one among their training sessions.

The 33-year-old says none of them hit just like the 6ft 5in Russian heavyweight he fought this weekend.

Dave Allen has never been hit harder

Dave Allen went the space with Arslanbek Makhmudov in Sheffield, England, on Saturday night.

The away fighter needed to survive an onslaught from Allen in round nine, but he was a transparent winner after 36 minutes of motion.

Makhmudov walked away with the WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title due to 115-111, 116-110, and 117-109 scorecards from the three ringside judges.

Post-fight, Allen praised his opponent as the toughest puncher he’s ever come up against.

The English fan-favorite was proud that he was in a position to take Makhmudov’s shots and stay on his feet.

“He’s the scariest-looking man I actually have ever seen, but he’s a sweetheart,” Allen said.

“He was too big and too good. I actually have never been hit or hurt like that in my life.

“He had me hurt about five times, and Jamie [Moore, Allen’s trainer] wanted to tug me out.

“But I’m a tricky man. I actually have never been down.”

Dave Allen gives Carl Froch a reality check

Dave Allen is refreshingly honest when discussing his boxing profession, never making an excuse for losing.

Carl Froch recently came upon Allen is just as honest when judging other people’s careers.

The Hall of Famer was told to his face that he’d lose if he took a comeback fight against ex-UFC star Darren Till, who called out Froch after putting Luke Rockhold to sleep at Misfits 22 in August.

“I assumed Darren Till would beat you,” Allen said during a recent interview with Froch.

“Too young and fresh. I just think he’s just too big and too young.

“It’s too big for you.

“I realize it’s his channel, but I can’t lie.”
