India captain Shubman Gill set the tone with a stellar performance on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, October 11, scoring his tenth Test century. The proper-handed batsman reached the milestone off 177 balls, marking his first century against the West Indies, with an innings featuring 13 fours and a six.
Gill achieved the landmark within the a hundred and thirtieth over of India’s first innings, just 14 overs after the lunch break.
