Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans desires to set the record straight about her relationship with ex-husband David Eason.
Evans, 33, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, October 13, and answered a series of questions from her followers. In response to a fan asking if she was “talking to David again,” she clarified, “F*** no,” adding a laughing emoji.
When one other fan asked if Evans thought that Eason, 37, “will reach out” in the approaching months, she used the digital acronyms for “I don’t know” and “I don’t care,” writing, “he’s obviously the identical person I left.”
And when asked if she’s dating anyone latest, Evans revealed that she’s been “single since January and haven’t dated since then. … I’m so picky now and have higher standards. Nobody keeps my attention long enough.”
Evans filed to separate from Eason in March 2024 after six years of marriage. In July, a judge agreed to grant her motion for an “absolute divorce” between her and her ex.
“His attitude that he had, putting everyone in a nasty mood on a regular basis,” she exclusively told Us Weekly on the time. “Everyone was walking on eggshells and I’m like, I don’t should live like this, and I don’t should stay together simply because we now have kids.”
The MTV reality star shares Jace, 16, with Andrew Lewis, Kaiser, 11, with Nathan Griffith, and Ensley, 8, with Eason. She said she was in a greater place following her divorce.
“It took a bit of time to get used to, but now I’m having fun with my alone time,” she noted last summer. “I’m feeling great because I’m taking the time to heal for myself and taking this time to be alone.”

While Eason moved on with girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole, Evans seems determined to maneuver forward.
“Now I can breathe 👏🏻🎉,” she wrote via Instagram when their split became official. “Went through our assets and got here to a settlement, ladies please don’t ever put anything in anyone else’s name but your personal. The battle is over! 😭🙈 #LessonLearned #Divorced.”
In August, Evans exclusively shared with Us how the exes’ assets were divided.
“Unfortunately, North Carolina is a 50/50 state and though I paid for the vast majority of our assets, they’d to be divided regardless,” she said. “I don’t think a variety of people put that into perspective when getting married, they usually definitely should. Prenups must be more accepted into society in my view.”
Per the settlement, Evans needed to pay her ex-husband greater than $30,000 and can be accountable for paying the remaining of the mortgage of their North Carolina home, a reported $138,920.
“Regardless that I used to be left with some debt,” Evans told Us, “I hope everyone can learn from my mistakes and life lessons once more. I’m glad to shut this chapter for good.”
