A friend of Michael Schumacher’s son, accused of raping one in all the F1’s legend’s nurses, has been named.

Australian racing driver Joey Mawson is alleged to have attacked the nurse who was a part of the round the clock medical team caring for Schumacher after he suffered a head injury in a ski accident.

The accused driver has since fled back to Australia but faces extradition back to Switzerland as ‘he has not been heard from in months’.

He didn’t appear on the opening of his trial.

Mawson, 29, who strongly denies the fees, repeatedly stayed at Schumacher’s Swiss mansion when he was competing in Europe.

The indictment reads the nurse had been carried to bed after an evening playing pool in 2019, in accordance with broadcaster 24 Heures.

After drinking vodka-based cocktails she complained of feeling unwell and was ‘carried to bed’ in a non-public room reserved for workers during night shifts, the prosecutors claim.

She was put into her bed ‘without being undressed,’ and he or she fell asleep.

In text messages, seen by prosecutors, she accused the Australian pilot who has did not get a F1 profession, of the attack but ‘tried to maneuver on’.

In fear of losing her job with the Schumachers, she reported the attack two years later in 2021.
