WWE Collectibles Crime Ring Busted, Toys Price 1000’s Seized In San Diego Raid

WWE motion figures are popular collectibles, and a few people even steal them.

In San Diego, police arrested two people after finding a house full of stolen WWE figures.

On October 2, deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department searched a house on Gold Coast Drive. They detained 36-year-old Brittany Gomez and 52-year-old Miguel Dominguez. Inside, officers discovered a whole bunch of stolen WWE figures, some still of their original boxes and others arrange in toy wrestling rings. Additionally they found other stolen items, mainly from Goal and Walmart. The stolen goods were stacked from the ground to the ceiling.

Authorities consider the suspects planned to resell the figures, nevertheless it’s unclear where they might sell them. Each suspects face felony charges, including grand theft and possession of stolen property.

The arrest is a component of an investigation into retail theft throughout that region. Gomez and Dominguez were held in Vista Detention Facility on felony charges, which include grand theft, possession of stolen goods, and theft of merchandise valued at over $950.

Rare WWE motion figures, like vintage Andre The Giant or prototype Hulk Hogan toys, may be price hundreds of dollars to collectors.

For now, the WWE motion figures will remain as evidence while the investigation continues.
