Eddie Hearn responds after being labeled a ‘lunatic’ by UFC boss Dana White

After sharing a mutual respect for one another for a substantial amount of years, the connection between Eddie Hearn and Dana White has hit the rocks.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn and UFC boss Dana White have at all times had a mutual respect for one another and the work they each do of their respective sports.

Despite that, when White entered the world of boxing this past September with a mega event headlined by Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford, Hearn and White went from friends to competition.

And although the event was an enormous success and went down as some of the successful events of the century, Hearn discredited White’s involvement in it, giving the lion share of the credit to Turki Alalshikh.

Hearn responds after being called a ‘lunatic’ by White

The continuing feud between the 2 promoters looked as if it would have began earlier this yr when Hearn took a surprise dig on the UFC, claiming that they’ve a ‘lack of star problem’.

The UFC boss wasn’t more than happy with Hearn’s claims and responded with an x-rated rant explaining why they don’t have an absence of star issue.

Nonetheless, things appear to have gotten progressively worse between the 2 and after TKO boxing’s successful inaugural event, Hearn claimed White didn’t have much to do with it, downplaying his impact.

After hearing the boxing promoters comments, the UFC boss went on to label Hearn a ‘lunatic’ in a scathing rant.

“I’m slightly bit concerned with what I saw from Dana,” Hearn said in response to White’s comments.

“I like Dana and I don’t want it and I don’t want it to go like this for him but I saw that interview and I used to be like that (clap), it’s over, it’s over before its ever began.

“I mean, how loud do you would like to talk? We all know, we’ve seen this before, the blood pressure starts going through the roof, just chill, it’s only little old me that doesn’t think large enough so just chill. We don’t need to scream and shout, we don’t need to lose our temper.

“You do your thing and I’ll do my thing. We’ve seen the rumored success with the Muhammad Ali Act, we all know what that’s, but we just keep doing what we’re doing, and I like our spot right away,” Hearn continued.

Dana White and Eddie Hearn can be in competition next yr

The connection between Hearn and White will seemingly worsen before it potentially gets higher.

Next yr, White’s Zuffa boxing will exclusively air on Paramount after the promotion followed down the UFC’s path and signed an exclusive take care of the broadcasting powerhouse recently.

Despite that, Hearn his confident his promotion will proceed to outperform Zuffa boxing, as their model is to place together events involving prospects, which is yet to be done in the game.
