The UFC Vancouver prelims had a violent ending.
The UFC returns to Canada with a 13-fight card headlined by a top contender fight at middleweight between Reinier de Ridder and Brendan Allen.
Within the featured prelim of the night, Ontario’s Kyle Prepolec crossed paths with American fan-favorite Drew Dober.
Dober got no love from the Canadian fans after he had some extent taken away from him in the ultimate round of their lightweight fight.

Dober was booed by the group following a low blow to Prepolec within the third round.
Dober and Prepolec were likely tied up after two rounds of motion, which saw Dober’s leg badly cut open.
Prepolec took his time recovering from Dober’s low blow, taking just a little lower than a five-minute break before they resumed the fight.
Despite the strike being unintentional, Dober was deducted some extent by the referee.
With just a few minutes to go within the round, Dober quickly pressed Prepolec on the feet where he began to put his punches together.
Dober knocked Prepolec’s mouthpiece out of his mouth en path to a ferocious standing TKO finish.
“Dober unleashed hell and got the finish,” UFC commentator Brendan Fitzgerald said on the printed.
Kyle Prepolec is now 0-4 in UFC
Not many fighters fall to 0-4 within the Octagon.
Kyle Prepolec went 0-2 in his first UFC stint back in 2019.
The Canadian failed in his eventual return to the promotion, losing by submission on the hand of Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 315.
This TKO loss to Dober brings Prepolec to 0-4 within the UFC.
