TORONTO – George Springer says he paid no mind to Seattle Mariners fans booing him after which cheering when he was hit by a pitch.
Springer spoke to media ahead Game 7 of the American League Championship Series between his Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle.

The 36-year-old veteran was hit on the proper kneecap by a 95.6 mph pitch from Bryan Woo within the seventh inning of Toronto’s 6-2 loss on Friday in Game 5.
Mariners fans had booed him during every plate appearance in them game after which celebrated when he was faraway from the sport after getting plunked by Woo.

Although Blue Jays manager John Schneider and teammate Ernie Clement remarked on how unsportsmanlike the Seattle fans were, Springer was apparently unaffected.
Springer says he was just concerned about his health within the moment.
