Asked whether he viewed Arsenal as real title contenders, Wenger told beIN SPORTS: ‘Yes, with none hesitation.

Discussing Liverpool’s current malaise, with the Reds losing to Crystal Palace, Galatasaray, Chelsea and Manchester United of their last 4 games, Wenger added: ‘Sometimes you’ll want to give players time.
‘The players have the talent, Isak has the talent and Wirtz has the talent. But in fact in the meanwhile they’ve not reached their level.
‘Perhaps they need to undergo a tricky period, show total commitment to the team after which the arrogance will come back.’
