Jake Paul chases chickens to channel Rocky Balboa for Gervonta Davis fight
In the course of the initial launch of ‘Jake vs Tank’, Gervonta Davis told Jake Paul that he should be ‘chasing chickens’ so as to catch him. The silly workout idea is an old boxing tradition, dating back to before the times of major pay-per-view fights and made famous in Rocky 2.
Paul clearly liked the thought, utilizing his custom-built PFL Smart Cage to run after two chickens that had been brought in for what was something of a warm-down. He streamed your complete comical ordeal on his coach Dejuan Butler’s Twitch channel, even though it didn’t go to plan.
Unfortunately, the chickens didn’t seem all that frightened of Paul, and so they looked as if it would type of cower within the corner waiting for him to catch them. Eventually, he gave up on the thought and headed downstairs where he and Butler continued gruelling exercises under the attention of famed coach Larry Wade.
As November 14 approaches, Paul appears to be moving into top shape. He can weigh as much as 200lb against ‘Tank’, whose profession heaviest weigh-in didn’t even touch the 140lb limit.
