The son of George Baldock will inherit a £4million fortune following the tragic death of his father last yr.
Former Premier League footballer Baldock died 12 months ago after he drowned at his home in Athens, aged 31.
Following an inquest, Greece international Baldock’s death was recorded as accidental by the coroner after he was discovered in his swimming pool.
Cruelly, the previous Sheffield United defender had been scheduled to fly back to England a day after his death to go to his son Brody to have a good time his first birthday.
Probate papers confirm Baldock, who was playing for Panathinaikos on the time of his passing,has amassed a £5,781,399 fortune.
The online value of his estate was reduced to £4,091,003 once his debts were settled.
Baldock died intestate, and as a consequence of him not writing a will the cash will robotically be handed to his next of kin.

Court papers seen by The Sun say his fortune will likely be managed by his fiance Annabel Dignam ‘for the use and advantage of minor Brody Baldock’ until he reaches the age of 18.
Following the death of her partner, Dignam posted a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram which read: ‘George, the love of my life, my soulmate. The right dad to our beautiful boy.
‘You accomplished me. You were my world and I do know we were yours.
‘You’re here with me in Brody’s smile, giggle and infectious personality. ‘My world won’t ever be the identical but I’ll discover a way for Brody. I promise.
‘I like you eternally and all the time G. Your Neen. X.’
A separate statement from Baldock’s family read: ‘We’re heartbroken with the sudden passing of our beloved George. We will confirm that a post-mortem examination has found that George tragically drowned whilst swimming within the pool at his home in Glyfada, Athens.


‘George, you were essentially the most special father, fiance, son, brother, uncle, friend, teammate and person. Your enthusiasm and infectious personality brought a lot love to people who were fortunate enough to know you and people who adored you from the stands.
‘We are going to eternally cherish the special memories we have now of you and you’ll proceed to survive in your beautiful son.
‘You were attributable to fly home today for us to have a good time his first birthday together, but as an alternative we mourn your loss.
‘As a family it has been incredibly touching, but equally so very difficult to read the large variety of tributes written by people who knew George and from those whose life he touched.
It was not possible not to like him. We ask that you simply please proceed to respect our privacy at this devastating time as we start to process our grief.’
Baldock began his profession with MK Dons and spent seven years at Sheffield United, helping the Blades secure promotion to the Premier League twice.
