Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have reportedly found a buyer for his or her Los Angeles home.
The estranged spouses listed the 11,800-square-foot mansion for $16.5 million back in February. The property, positioned in L.A.’s Hidden Hills area and now valued at nearly $15 million, is under contract from a buyer, People reported on Wednesday, October 22, citing a Zillow listing.
The home has a contemporary farmhouse aesthetic, with a black-and-white exterior and open, airy interiors. There are six bedrooms, a gym, a wine cellar and a house theater in addition to a swimming pool and bocce ball court.
As Us Weekly previously reported, Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, dropped the asking price of the mansion from $16.5 million to $14.9 million on July 7. The previous couple purchased the estate in August 2020 for $9.5 million.
Earlier this month, Loughlin and Giannulli announced they were separating after 27 years of marriage.
“They live apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are not any legal proceedings presently,” Loughlin’s rep Elizabeth Much told People on the time.
They’re parting ways six years after presenting a united front in the course of the 2019 controversy involving daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Bella Giannulli. Loughlin and Giannulli were accused of paying $500,000 for his or her kids to achieve acceptance to the University of Southern California. They pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud charges.
The Full House alum was sentenced to 2 months in prison, while Giannulli received a five-month sentence. Loughlin was released from prison in late 2020 and Giannulli followed in April 2021.
Last yr, Loughlin sat down for her first major interview since her prison release. Without speaking directly concerning the low point in her life, she said, “On daily basis, we’re met with different obstacles. But, for me, it’s like that song says, ‘I get knocked down, but I rise up again.’”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly on October 9 that Loughlin was combating the separation.
“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they’ve been going through a extremely hard time within the last yr,” the source said. “This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated.”
The insider noted that Loughlin “thought a break could help” her relationship with Giannulli, but “they will not be on the identical page.”
“They may not reconcile — there may be currently no likelihood — and can ultimately divorce,” the source said, adding on the time that Giannulli had “been on dates” because the split but Loughlin “has not.”
Meanwhile, Olivia and Bella are “definitely upset” but “aren’t surprised,” a source told Us in an exclusive on October 10. “That they had seen the best way their parents were interacting within the last yr and knew this was coming. It was not a shock to anyone within the family.”
