Coming up on the twenty fifth of October from the O2 Arena in London, in a heavyweight contest that will likely be available live to tell the tale DAZN PPV, heavyweight contender Joseph Parker is scheduled to square off against fellow heavyweight contender Fabio Wardley.

The upcoming showdown between Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley is a terrific heavyweight match up. You may have two legit Top 10 heavyweights squaring off, and it’s a dangerous fight for each guys – it’s the sort of match-up that would really shake up the heavyweight landscape.
Parker is sort of universally viewed as essentially the most deserving challenger to Oleksandr Usyk’s undisputed world heavyweight championship, and for superb reason. Parker has battled his way back into title contention with six victories in a row, and his last three victories have been especially great. He thoroughly outclassed Deontay Wilder who was a Top 5 heavyweight when Parker beat him. Then he beat one other Top 5 heavyweight when he won a 12 round majority decision against Big Bang Zhang. In his most up-to-date bout, he was originally scheduled to challenge IBF champion Daniel Dubois, but Dubois pulled out on account of injury just days out from the fight, and Martin Bakole stepped in as a final minute substitute. Bakole was viewed as a Top 10 going into that one, and Parker stopped him in round 2.
Wardley is a heavyweight powerhouse who recently won against Justis Huni. The fight proved to be a particularly difficult one for Wardley, where Huni was in a position to outbox him throughout nearly all of the competition, but Wardley ultimately scored a dramatic knockout in round 10. Wardley has the highest of devastating knockout power that many individuals have compared him to former WBC champion Deontay Wilder, where despite the proven fact that neither man has possessed elite level boxing skills, they each have a track record of overcoming a skills deficit through mental determination, incredible confidence, and devastating knockout power.
What makes this fight especially interesting is that now we have two Top 10 heavyweights fighting for the proper to earn a title shot, where each man is arguably ready where they’ll soon be in line for a title shot, where Parker is the WBO interim champion and Wardley is the WBA interim champion. In that sense, it’s a really dangerous fight for each heavyweights, and the contrasting styles should produce an entertaining encounter. This can be a terrific fight for heavyweight boxing, and each boxers must be applauded for stepping as much as the challenge.
