Marcus Rashford has told Manchester United that he wants to increase his stay at Barcelona beyond the present season.
Barcelona signed Rashford on loan from United in the summertime transfer window and have the choice to make the move everlasting next summer for £28 million.
United manager Ruben Amorim made it clear that Rashford had no future at Old Trafford and the 27-year-old spent the summer holding out for a move to the Spanish champions.
Rashford has made a vivid start for Barca with five goals and 4 assists in 12 appearances thus far this season.

Asked if he desires to stay at Barcelona, Rashford told ESPN: ‘Oh yeah, needless to say.
‘I’m having fun with this football club and I believe for anybody who loves football, Barcelona is one in all the important thing clubs within the history of the sport. For a player is an honour.’
Rashford also feels that it was time for a change in his profession having been with United since he was seven years old.
‘It was so a few years in a single place. People forget this, but 24 years, 23 years of my life was with Manchester United,’ Rashford said.
‘So sometimes you only need a change. I believe possibly that is the case with me and yeah, I’m having fun with every part.’
