Michael Owen has modified his Premier League title prediction and has revealed exactly who he thinks will probably be ending in the highest 4 this term.
Arsenal sit top of the table after the opening eight games of the 2025-26 season, trying to land their first top-flight trophy in 22 years.
The Gunners, who’ve finished as Premier League runners-up for 3 seasons in a row, are three points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
Owen’s former club Liverpool, the 2024-25 champions, are third with the identical points tally and goal difference as fourth-placed AFC Bournemouth.

Owen: I feel Arsenal will win the league
‘I tipped Liverpool to win the Premier League before the season, but now, I’d say Arsenal,’ Owen told Sky Bet.

‘You may’t keep doing that and never win something eventually. Even ending second isn’t a failure.
‘Have a look at Liverpool – they’ve won two Premier League titles but have come second loads of times too.
‘Manchester City have come second a number of times of their recent history. People act like second is negative, however it’s not.
‘Arsenal are getting closer. They got to the semi-finals of the Champions League last 12 months and did higher than every other English club.
‘They’re improving on a regular basis so in the event that they were to sack Mikel Arteta for ending second again, it’d be incredible.
‘Clubs that keep changing managers, like Manchester United did, find yourself back at square one.
‘Have a look at Arsenal after they parted company with Arsene Wenger – they are only coming back into title contention now.
