The daddy of the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion desires to see him do something different.
After stepping on the scales on the UFC 321 weigh-ins, Tom Aspinall’s first undisputed title defense is official for Saturday night in Abu Dhabi.
The 32-year-old has been praised as the most effective heavyweights to have competed contained in the Octagon in only nine UFC fights.
Many imagine that his explosive power will make the difference against Ciryl Gane on October 25, despite Aspinall entering MMA as a grappling specialist.
The Brit could also be meaning to be the energetic champion that the division has needed for a while, but his father doesn’t want him to stay around an excessive amount of longer.

In a video captured backstage, Daniel Cormier told Tom Aspinall that he could produce an incredible run because of the opposition he faces at heavyweight.
The undisputed champion has already beaten several of the highest contenders within the division, with former interim titleholder Ciryl Gane being the following name that he hopes so as to add to that list.
Previously, the undisputed champion’s father and coach, Andy Aspinall, has spoken about wanting his son to make a move over to boxing before he calls time on his profession.
While Aspinall recently stated that he doesn’t intend on making that switch anytime soon, it appears that evidently his father would really like it to occur sooner moderately than later.
A video posted by RMC Sport Combat on X shows Aspinall’s long-time coach speaking in regards to the path he wants his son to take, revealing a surprising timeframe for his potential UFC exit.
“Boxing, needless to say. More cash, why not? He’s got three more fights on his contract now and I don’t need to sign a brand new contract.”

There was a degree in Tom Aspinall’s profession where he was planning to desert MMA entirely with a purpose to pursue a profession in boxing.
The UFC champion even frolicked training alongside the likes of Tyson Fury, but while he struggled to get fights in MMA, he faced similar issues in boxing.
His trajectory modified following his signing with Cage Warriors, where he made his debut with the European promotion in 2019.
Two quick wins within the promotion in the identical 12 months saw Aspinall earn a UFC contract that led to him stepping contained in the Octagon for the primary time in July of 2020.
