Battlefield REDSEC arrives today, following testing back in September for the brand new online battle royale mode featuring as much as 100 players per match. The teams over at Electronic Arts are probably still celebrating the massively successful launch of Battlefield 6, which saw the newest entry breaking all-time franchise sales records and having the most important concurrent player count, but are still committed to keeping the momentum going with Battlefield REDSEC released inside a matter of hours. EA has not yet officially revealed the small print for REDSEC, but listed here are the small print shared for the previous testing cycle.
- Map: Battlefield is not any stranger to epic maps, and this all-new map has been built for the Battle Royale experience. It encompasses a diverse array of tactical Points of Interest, each with distinct layouts and themes that supply unique gameplay opportunities.
- Vehicles: Players can find common transport vehicles across the map and even unlock powerful armored vehicles to show the tide of battle. The intent is to supply more ways for players to traverse the map early on in a match and to create interesting combined arms motion in the method.
- Tactical Destruction: Destruction will probably be all over the place on this mode. From creating pathways through partitions to toppling buildings, we sit up for seeing players’ ingenuity with destruction and the way they use it to defeat their opponents.
- Squadplay: For this test, each match will feature 100 players, organized into 25 four-player squads, fighting to be the last one standing. Communicating along with your squad through pings, text, or VOIP goals to spice up the experience and enhance their tactical options.
- Second possibilities: Between the Support class revives and Mobile Redeploy options, there are multiple tools to maintain your squad within the fight.
Twitch Drops
Bonus skins and items could be had via a series of Twitch drops for many who have linked their EA and Twitch accounts. This Season 1 Battlefield 6 content could be obtained from October 28 at 8 a.m. PT to November 4 at 11:59 p.m. PT by watching their favorite Battlefield REDSEC creator. Content is rewarded based on how long a stream is viewed and will probably be placed within the user’s Drops Inventory, where it should be claimed inside 24 hours and might then be used each in Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.
