ARC Raiders, the brand new multiplayer extraction shooter from Embark Studios, has hit the bottom running, and players can expect more inbound content. Set in Earth’s future, humanity is threatened by mechanized enemies called ARC. Players emerge as Raiders, either in cooperative teams or against one another, to scavenge the surface in an effort to survive while exploring a world overun by machines.

Available via Steam, EGS, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S game stores ($39.99 base/$59.99 deluxe) and supporting cross-platform play, ARC Raiders managed to interact over 260,000 players on Steam alone, and while numbers from Sony and Microsoft haven’t been reported, it’s probably a protected guess that total player counts are well over 300,00 and possibly closer to half 1,000,000. Meanwhile, it has retained a mean of ~250,00 on Steam with a really positive rating from nearly 14,000 reviews and currently holds the #1 sales spot.
Embark Studios is keeping the momentum going and has just revealed its 2025 roadmap. Players can expect recent maps and map conditions, cosmetics, quests, upcoming recent events, recent ARC threats, game improvements, weapons, and more.
