“Jersey Shore” fans fell in love with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his rock-solid body throughout the early seasons of the MTV show. After life got in the best way, nevertheless, the truth star admitted he fell astray together with his fitness routine, leading to him gaining just a few kilos and losing his signature washboard abs. Things are looking different for Mike Sorrentino now, though, because the veteran reality star has begun showing off his latest body—the results of hours within the gym and a strict food regimen.

During an interview with the Latest York Post, Sorrentino, 43, revealed he went to extreme lengths to get his body where he wanted it, including saying goodbye to his favorite dishes, comparable to chicken cutlets and pasta. The fact star also spent nearly two hours within the gym five days every week, which culminated in his 30-pound weight reduction.
“I probably haven’t been this weight since 19 or 20 years old. I’m also realizing that perhaps lots of genetics need to do with it because as soon as I lost the load, the abs are only there,” he said. “I’m like, ‘Oh my God, God decided to provide me back my abs.'”

Mike Sorrentino Says The ‘Jersey Shore’ Production Team Didn’t Consider He Could Get His Old Body Back
Along with his strenuous fitness routine, the daddy of three only ate clean foods, including a stack of scrambled eggs and oatmeal for breakfast, followed by grilled chicken and rice for lunch, and steak or fish with a sweet potato for dinner. Sorrentino needed to make those sacrifices so he could get his body back to where he wanted it to be.
“Abs are made within the kitchen. I never cheated on my food regimen, but I’m going to start out to implement that cheat day because I’m right down to 180 now,” he said.

Elsewhere within the interview, Sorrentio recalled a conversation he had with the producers of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” who expressed doubt about his ability to snap back. “Because I’m not a spring chicken. I’m not in my 20s anymore … but because the weeks began to go by, I began to see the load come off,” he said.
“I began telling production at MTV, ‘I believe I’m going to get The Situation back. I’m putting within the work, I’m beginning to look good.’ And so they were like, ‘Yeah, okay,'” he continued.

Mike Sorrentino Dismisses Claims He Had A Facelift
Along with his 30-pound weight reduction, other parts of Sorrentino’s body modified, including his face, which got much attention online, based on a previous report from The Blast.
Chatting with the NY Post, Sorrentino dismissed the allegations that he got a facelift, as a substitute crediting his latest look to the classic “gym, tanning, [and] laundry” routine made famous on the MTV series.
He sparked concern amongst social media users just a few months ago when a TikTok of him went viral, causing many to wonder if he’d gone too far with cosmetic surgery.
“I definitely got a ton of responses considering I had gotten a facelift or latest eyeballs and cheeks from Zimbabwe,” he said within the response video. “I definitely didn’t do this.”

Getting His Abs Back Was A Big Deal For The Situation
And while some could also be unimpressed by Sorrentino’s journey, it’s admittedly a giant deal for the truth star, who has spoken openly about his sobriety journey and past legal woes, which landed him in federal prison for eight months.
“What a journey I’ve had from having my abs after I was first introduced to the world to now post prison, post addiction, recovery and now having them again … That is the evolution of The Situation,” he said. “I even have the family and the story and the sobriety, and now I got the abs back. All those things are priceless. You may have to earn those. I put the work in for all of that.”
The Situation Celebrates 7 Years Of Marriage
Along with his banging latest body, Sorrentino recently shared a photograph on Instagram, celebrating his seventh wedding anniversary together with his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, whom he married in 2018.
“HAPPY 7 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO MY FOREVER LOVE [AND] SOUL MATE. LOOK WHAT WE CREATED,” he captioned the carousel of images.
